We are an East Midlands-based energy efficiency retrofit company, providing a whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency.
Established by British Army veteran, Ben Foster MBE, to bring transparency to a complex and confusing industry, and provide honest, transparent and factual advice.
With a no-nonsense approach and absolutely no pushy sales tactics, we’re proud to serve the local community and support efforts to reduce climate impact and control energy spending.
Meet Ben
A veteran of 16 years’ service as an Officer in the British Army’s Corps of Royal Engineers, Ben’s career included managing a wide range of engineering and construction works.
Some of the highlights include: delivering water & sanitation infrastructure support in remote parts of Kenya, supporting the NHS with construction of the Nightingale Hospital in Harrogate, and delivering a range of infrastructure projects across the Middle East. He has experience as both a prime contractor and design engineer for building services in major construction firms.
Specific to domestic retrofit, he’s a qualified and Trustmark accredited retrofit assessor and coordinator, with experience delivering projects around the UK, including in heritage properties.
Now settled in Borrowash renovating his 1960’s semi-detached home, he’s striving to make the house as energy efficient as possible. Embarking on his own retrofit journey spurred Ben into establishing Tactical Energy Systems, to act as a trusted partner to others who seek to do the same – care for our planet and leave a positive legacy for years to come.
